The most important aspect of our i+DCS team is knowledge. Here are some of the Key Personnel that make up i+DCS
Ashley Heming – i+DCS Contract Manager
Ashley joined CK Group some 12 years ago and has led the i+DCS team since its beginnings. Ashley provides consultation and advice on several aspects of the services, in particular specialist deep cleaning, hospital relocation and commissioning cleaning, ultrasonic and VHP deep cleaning.
Ashley works closely with our major suppliers keeping abreast of technological and environmental advances in machinery, chemicals and cleaning methodologies and provides unbiased solutions to challenges for our clients.
He oversees the training and deployment of our 24 hour/365 days a year mobile specialist “rapid response” teams for particular projects or in managing infection control and HAI outbreaks.
Ashley liaises with our client’s Facilities and Contract Managers or Hospital services managers and is the main contact point for project performance reviews and progress meetings with them, reporting directly to our MD.
He is a member of the British Institute of Cleaning Science BICSc.
David Tucker RN, BSc (Infection Control), C&K Group Director Infection Prevention.
David has been a registered nurse for 40 years, having specialised in infection prevention and control for the past 26 years. For the last 16 years David was employed by the NHS in the UK, at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, where he was the deputy director for infection prevention and control. Throughout this term of office David has been engaged on a range of national and international projects and initiatives related to his speciality.
With a proven track record of strategic and critical thinking, service improvement, developing new and innovative services for infection prevention and control, David has successfully risen to provide solutions to the ever changing demands and challenges of modern healthcare, with a particular interest in the Built Environment. This high local and national profile resulted in his expertise being sought across all areas of the healthcare industry and into many other commercial and public areas.
David has a broad base of clinical and managerial experience in a unique range of settings and, since joining CK Group, has furthered the work of cleaning outcome auditing against desired benchmarks and in the training of “local” auditors to ensure the Group’s clients have confidence in the measurements as well as the flexibility to change the parameters as their businesses grow.
It has to be recognised that infectious agents (pathogens) co-exist within populations, and as such infection prevention measures must be geared to anticipate, contain and eliminate potential reservoirs of these pathogens. Whilst the clinical management of patients remains a key focus in reducing the risk of infection and eliminating reservoirs it is not the only aspect. Effective management of the environment is essential in eliminating reservoirs and reducing the risk of transmission through contaminated surfaces and systems
David uses his considerable expertise in infection prevention matters to provide a bespoke service which identifies and quantifies risks within each individual environment.
